How I stay Inspired

As you all know I started my blog back in December 2013 (a little over 2 1/2 years ago) and it’s been a learning experience since. Blogging has always been a part-time thing (since I had a full-time job as well) and the beginning of this year I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my dream job full-time! A lot of people get the impression that bloggers live this “lavish” lifestyle that consist of looking all dolled up and attending really fun events. Although this is partly true we actually put a lot of time into what we do! I’m talking about creating content, writing, researching (fashion trends, hairstyle, DIY, food, etc), keeping up with social media (facebook, twitter, instagram, snapchat, pinterest, insta-stories). A lot of people aren’t aware of the endless hours we put behind all of our work.

Since I do freelance and create content for my website as well as other brands I’m usually on the go running to my meetings, shoots, or appointments. Having my laptop with me everywhere I go is ideal so I’m able to catch up on editing photos, drafting up blog post, or brainstorming on future project ideas (just a few of the many things I do). In my previous post (HERE), I’ve mentioned to you guys that I will report back with some updates after using the laptop for a few weeks now. The one thing I love about my HP Spectre is that it’s super lightweight, thin, and easy to carry around (you can feel it right away after opening the box).  It really makes having a mobile office a lot easier, that way I don’t feel like I’m restricted to my desk space at home. The best part about the HP Spectre is the battery life (of course!), I love that I’m able to go almost 9 hours without having to use my charger at all. Don’t let the size of this laptop fool ya! The battery life and the specs on this laptop are quite impressive! Overall I’m loving the mobility of my new laptop. Its easier to carry around and I love that I’m able to just throw it in my tote bag without feeling the weight on my shoulders.

To me having the right tools really helps me stay inspired to create the content that I do. Aside from that, I like to keep up with the latest whether its trends from fashion week, celebrity street style (like Kendal Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and Hailey Baldwin just a few of my favs!), or simply flipping through a magazine. Inspiration is everywhere around us, so stay inspired ALWAYS!
