If you guys didn’t know, its restaurant week in Los Angeles also know as dineLA (July 18-31). DineLA is a great opportunity to try a new restaurant for lunch or dinner at a set menu price (Lunch is $15 and dinner is $39-$49 depending on the restaurant). To me this is a great deal since your able to get a 3-course meal for that set price, and its an unforgettable opportunity to dine at LA’s most populars restaurants across the city. For this week I had the pleasure of trying out 2 restaurants that has been at the top of my list with my good friend Azusa.
FAITH AND FLOWER

Faith and Flower has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Downtown LA. The interior is amazing and so are their menus for drinks/food. The first time I ate here all I had was pizza and a few cocktails, so I was pretty excited to be back for their dineLA menu.
There were so many options and it was really hard to choose but with the help of our amazing server she gave us a few suggestions. We started off with some cocktails and my favorite was the English Milk Punch and 9th Street Fix. The English Milk Punch was probably one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had! Its so good that I order another one (I highly recommend this drink!). For starters we order 1/2 dozen oysters, Albacore Carpaccio, and NY Steak Tartare (which was my favorite) to share. For my entree I ordered the Mesquite Grilled Pork Porterhouse (this was perfectly cooked! it was so tender and delicious). For dessert I had the Hazelnut Chocolate Feuilletine (at this point I was too stuffed to eat anything else). Before we left our server suggested we try one of their signature cocktails called the Leap of Faith and this was probably one of the coolest experience ever! You guys have to go in and try it for yourself!

We Stopped by Terrine the next day for a quick lunch. Terrine has been on the top of my list for quite some time now and I’m glad I finally made some time to pop in for a visit. When I walked into the restaurant I immediately walked around to admire the interior decorations inside. I love all the vintage mirror details around the restaurant. We got seated and ordered a few popular things on the menu (I will list everything we ordered below). The plating was beautiful and the lunch was quick and light. We enjoyed sharing all these plates between us two.
