I’ve been meaning to get this post up the last weekend but I’ve been feeling a little under the weather. Last Sunday I met up with a few friends for brunch on Melrose ave. I’ve passed by Fratelli Cafe a few times but never had a chance to stop in for a meal. Lately I’m all about finding new places to eat and if its a place that I like then I’m definitely going to share it with you guys.
MY EXPERIENCE
We arrived at the restaurant and it was packed! The wait was about 30 minutes or so, but on a Sunday we didn’t expect to get seated right away anyways. The staff was super nice and attentive and made sure to check in on us to let us know the status of our table. We requested to sit outside (like every LA native) since the weather was nice out. As soon as we got seated we ordered a round of mimosas, some coffee of course, and one of my friends ordered the Micheladas. Soon after we ordered our entrees and everything came out within minutes (thank god! since we were all starving), but anyone that dines with me isn’t allowed to eat until I get my photos (LOLS!! thats the only catch when you eat with a blogger! #EatingColdFoodSince2013). I quickly snapped my photos and went in on the food right away. My friends gave me the honors of ordering for everyone so I ordered a few sweet & savory dishes to share amongst us three. The portion was perfect and the plating of the food was on point (check out the photos above). If you guys are in the area I suggest you guys try out this place for brunch (served all day).
